Spirits were not dampened though and great fun was had by all who attended with some yummy BBQ food, popcorn and movies for the youngsters and a chance to relax and chat for the adults, and even better in the end very little in the way of rain. So much so that a number of the children decided to sleep under the stars! Visit the gallery to see pictures of the event.

Beacon Fell - Sunday 1st October

Despite the rain a group of almost 20 plus dogs met at Beacon Fell Country Park for a short trek through the Bowland countryside followed by coffee and cake (and ice cream for some!!!) at the handy cafe in the visitor centre. Anyone would think it was planned that way......

It's difficult to be sure whether the children or the dogs returned muddiest but on balance the dogs probably took the prize.

A great time was had by all! See the gallery for pics of the event.

Picnic in the Park - Saturday 24th June

The group had a great afternoon Gruffalo Spotting, followed by a lovely supper at Fr. Leo's.

Afterwards we headed back to Langho and met up at the presbytery for supper with Fr. Leo and lots of great conversation. A big thank you to Agnes Corban for some yummy desserts and of course to Jen for the chocolate cake to celebrate her birthday!
